These spinach chicken burgers are one of my favorite go-to summer recipes (although I make them year-round). Make them with ground chicken or ground turkey – whatever you have available. This recipe uses a pan or skillet to cook the burgers, however, they can also be made on a grill or barbecue!
I love to make extra of these chicken burgers and then save them in the fridge or freezer for quick protein with some veggies and sweet potatoes, or chopped up on top of a salad!
Spinach Chicken Burgers
1 pound ground chicken breast
1/2 tablespoon coconut aminos
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1/4 cup minced onion (fresh)
1/2 cup chopped spinach
Preheat a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat. (You can also make these on the barbecue or a grill pan).
In a large bowl, add chicken, coconut aminos, dijon mustard, onions, spinach, salt and pepper.
Mix ingredients together, and form into four patties.
Add olive oil to pan and spread to coat pan. Add patties to pan and cook, flipping once during cooking.
Cook until patties are cooked all the way through (no pink, and internal temperature at least 165°F).

The term “detox” has been exploited as a way to sell diet programs. But is there some truth to it? Do we need to “detox”? The answer, as I typically say with nutrition, is that it depends.
