What is functional medicine/nutrition?
Functional medicine refers to a practice of healthcare focused on treating the whole person rather than just treating the disease or symptoms. It takes into account the interplay of lifestyle, genetic, and environmental factors on long-term health. Additionally, functional practitioners aim to identify and treat the root cause of health issues, which might be stemming from things like gut health, hormone imbalances, adrenal dysfunction, etc.
Functional nutritionists recognize that food is medicine and apply the principles of functional medicine through nutrition therapy.

Book your FREE 15-Minute Discovery call. Let's get to know each other! On this call, we will discuss your health and nutrition goals, how we can help, and what working together would look like.
75-Minute Initial Consultation. In our first session, we'll do a deep-dive into your life to discuss your short and long-term goals, healthy history, sleep, exercise, work, stress, diet, and just about everything else. You'll walk out of this session feeling ready and empowered to kick off your health journey!
Start your Good Nutrition Journey. Consistency is important to achieve results and build sustainable habits. We will meet regularly to discuss your progress, challenges, and health journey. I do not believe in restrictive eating or fad diets. The Good Nutrition method focuses on adding in more good to help crowd out the things that may not be serving you. We will teach out how to nourish your body, support your natural body systems, and build good habits. I will also help you discover the foods and habits that may not be serving you, and ultimately help you find a balance that works for YOU. Remember, my job is to support you as your expert guide, coach, and #1 fan!
Do you take insurance?
While we do not take insurance, we do accept HSA/FSA cards (with a letter of medical necessity from your doctor), and we will also provide you with a superbill after each session. A superbill is a standardized receipt outlining the nutrition services provided by Good Nutrition that you may submit to your insurance provider to request reimbursement.
